Joe Cornish (“Attack the Block”) and Shane Black (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) have been added to the “Gambit” director wishlist, according to Heroic Hollywood.
Both filmmakers, as well as the previously announced Doug Liman (“Edge of Tomorrow”), are being eyed to take over the job vacated by Rupert Wyatt on the Fox superhero pic.
Channing Tatum is set to star in the film, a spin-off of the “X-Men” movies. The film is targeted for a late 2016 release.
