’90s movie legend Scott Glenn (“The Hunt for Red October”) will play ‘Stick’, Matt Murdock’s mentor, on Netflix’s “Daredevil”. Glenn joins Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll on the show, which is already snaring good buzz. (Deadline)
Actress Amanda Pays, who played geneticist Dr. Tina McGee on ’90s series “The Flash”, will play the same role on the new version. Only this time, Tina McGee will be less of a heroine – she actually wants to get her hands on Barry Allen’s gift. EP Andrew Kreisberg said, “When we decided to bring Tina onto our version of ‘The Flash,’ who better to get than the amazing actress who originated the part? Like with John Wesley Shipp, we are so proud and excited to have another actor from the original series join us on our new adventures for Barry Allen.” (Variety)
