“Arrested Development” star voicing a car

It was a sad day when I discovered William Daniels wouldn’t be returning as the voice of K.I..T.T for the new-fangled “Knight Rider” series – but fortunately, someone with just as nifty a pair of lungs will take his place … Will Arnett. Arnett, formerly of TVs “Arrested Development” and recently in the films “Blades of Glory”, “The Brother’s Solomon” and “Hot Rod”, has a terrifically distinct voice (he narrated one of the faux trailers in “Grindhouse”, actually). He’ll be good.

Deanna Russo, one of the stars of the new series, tells ComingSoon.net that Mr Amy Poehler will be perfect. “Will Arnett is a brand-new addition to the show, and we’re so excited to have him on board. When I first heard talks of him being on it, I was just clamoring with joy. I’m a huge fan of ‘Arrested Development’! His voice alone is very memorable, so I think he’s a perfect fit for KITT. I’m just really excited to hear what he does with it; there are so many choice[s] one could make.”
