“Burlesque” director (and “Goonies” actor – he was Troy!) Steve Antin will direct Gold Circle’s comedy ”The Girlfriend”, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Eric Shade’s script, a female-driven comedy, fixes on a woman who moves in with the woman her husband had been having an affair with (the woman, of course, not knowing who her new revenge-seeking roomie really is).
”The Girlfriend” will be produced by Paul Brooks and Lisa Tornell with Scott Niemeyer executive producing.
