News out of CinemaCon is that “Goosebumps 2” will officially be titled “Goosebumps: Haunted Halloween”. The release date for the film remains at October 12, 2018.
R.L. Stine tweeted some quickly deleted news last month that the title would be “Goosebumps: Slappy’s Revenge” but it seems that was a false start.
The second instalment stars Chris Parnell, Ken Jeong, and Wendi McLendon-Covey. Ari Sandel directs. The voice of Slappy sounds spookily like Jack Black, according to Deadline, but Sony reps maintain it’s the voice of the puppeteer Avery Jones.
