Granite Mountain gets release date & new cast member

Andie MacDowell has joined the cast of firefighter film “Granite Mountain”, which has been slated to release on September 22, 2017.

Josh Brolin and Miles Teller star with Jeff Bridges, Taylor Kitsch, Alex Russell and James Badge Dale.

Joseph Kosinski will direct the film which is based on the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, an elite group of firefighters who battled one of the deadliest wildfires in history, known as the Yarnell Hill Fire, to save an Arizona town, resulting in the tragic death of 19 crew members.

Producers are Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Erik Howsam, Conde Nast Entertainment’s Jeremy Steckler and Dawn Ostroff, Mike Menchel, Black Label Media’s Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill.
