It was recently reported that Benicio Del Toro was up for the role of the villain in “Star Wars Episode III” – the 2017 follow-up to this year’s “Star Wars : The Force Awakens”.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the “Sicario” star hinted that it looks to come off..
“I can’t tell you much about it but I think it might happen. It looks like it’s gonna happen so I’m very excited.”
Del Toro said he can’t talk about it and that the script is hard to get.
Rian Johnson is directing the film, which is also expected to star (returning “Force Awakens” castmembers) Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Jon Boyega and Oscar Isaac.
