“Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn hit new social media app Periscope to answer some fan questions. The filmmaker was quizzed on everything from the “Guardians” sequel to who he thinks should play the next James Bond.
On the “Guardians” sequel, Gunn said that the script was pretty far along, that Karen Gillan’s Nebula character would be back, and that the tone would be quite different to the first film.
It doesn’t sound like “Guardians” sequel star Chris Pratt will have to work around his rumoured ‘Indiana Jones’ commitments, either, with Gunn sounding pretty confident that all that is “complete bullshit”.
During a second round of Q&A on Periscope, Gunn confirmed that the “Guardians” sequel will begin filming February 2016.
