Gyllenhaal, Maguire & Bridges up for Jane Got a Gun

Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, and Jeff Bridges are being mooted as possibilities to replace Jude Law on the seemingly-cursed Nat Portman western “Jane Got a Gun”.

Not only did the director nix the project this week, so did Law, who decided he was joining Lynne Ramsay on the sidelines. Law was to play the film’s villain, evil hubby of Natalie Portman’s character.

According to The LA Times, director Gavin O’Connor is looking for someone that’s an internationally recognized name, as well as someone who “looks good in a hat”.

I’m guessing, since they need an actor ASAP (production was due to begin this week!), they’ll go for whoever of the three says ‘yes!’ first.
