Up-and-comers Jeremy Renner (”The Hurt Locker,” ”The Town”) and Noomi Rapace (”The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”) are set to star in a sequel to the classic Grimm Bros’ fairytale ”Hansel & Gretel”.
Tommy Wirkola’s ”Hansel & Gretel : Witch Hunters” is set fifteen years after the young duo were primed for Witchie-Pooh lunch.
This will be ”Dead Snow” director Wirkola’s English-language debut.
According to Twitch Film, Renner himself dropped the nugget at the Venice Film Festival.
