A project centred on the life of Marilyn Monroe is in the works at Lifetime, Variety reports.
Titled “Marilyn”, the miniseries is based on J. Randy Taraborrelli’s New York Times bestseller “The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe”.
The biography looks at the titular star’s relationships with her mother, foster mother and legal guardian, as well as focusing on her link with the Kennedys and her battle with mental illness.
Stephen King is writing the script from which Laurie Collyer will direct, assuming the miniseries is picked up.
