Harlin heads to The Covenant

Renny Harlin’s had a pretty rotten twelve months, what with "Exorcist : The Beginning" flopping and "Mindhunters" essentially dumped, but his next flick sounds reasonably intriguing.

According to Production Weekly, Geena’s old bed-buddy has signed to do adaptation of the graphic novel "The Covenant".

J.S Cardone’s script fixes on four families whose patriarchs wield a vast eldritch power – a power that has been passed down from father to son for generations.

We’re introduced, in the film, to the book’s main characters Caleb, Pogue, Reid and Miller as they discover they’re next in line to receive the power of the Covenant.

The story begins with the lads fooling around with their powers and later having to use them to do battle with an evil they’ve unleashed.

The film begins it’s shoot in Montreal this October.
