The first pic from Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming male-stripper movie – said to be loosely based on the life of the film’s star Channing Tatum, who at age 19 donned some loose-fitting boxers and a boombox to entertain the ladies – has been cut out from the preview part of Warner Bros’s silver-tainted sealed section.
The pic features Tatum (“G.I Joe”), Joe Manganiello (“True Blood”), Matthew McConaughey (“The Lincoln Lawyer”) and Alex Pettyfer (“I Am Number Four”) – sans T-Shirts..
Set in the world of male strippers, “Magic Mike” follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.
Matt Bomer (“In Time”) and Adam Rodriguez (“Roswell”) also bring the, er, Manpower to the film.
