“Community” cutie Gillian Jacobs is set for the female lead in “Hot Tub Time Machine 2”, the sequel to the 2010 comedy that swaps out John Cusack for Adam Scott and hopes nobody much notices.
The project will reunite Jacobs with her former “Community” co-star Chevy Chase, who is reprising his mysterious hot-tub repairman role from the first.
Jacobs, who is well on her way to becoming ‘quite the thing’ in film (she’s got a few goodies on the way, including “Walk of Shame” with Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden), joins Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke for the Steve Pink-directed laffer.
