SURPRISE! Hotel Transylvania gets a sequel.
Sony Pictures’ massive success with Hotel Transylvania means the animated flick is following the much-worn path and getting a second instalment.
THR says the sequel is still in the very early stages of development with a 2015 release being eyed – but there’s still no director attached yet. Genndy Tartakovsky, who directed the first film has moved on to direct “Popeye”.
After pulling in $253 million at the worldwide box office, it’s expected the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez will all return to their roles.
