The Hollywood Reporter says Melissa Rosenberg, best known for her scripting duties on “Twilight”, has taken over writing duties on the remake of the 1986 hit. She inherits the gig from “Iron Man” co-writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.
Rosenberg’s already on the Summit payroll, what with “Twilight”, and no doubt that factor, coupled with the fact that she helped line the studio floor with greenbacks (“Twilight” made a mint!), won her the job.
