Interview promo suggests Christmas day release still on!?

What in Gary Busey’s crotch is going on here!?

First, Sony say they’ve no plans to release “The Interview” – considering the little jerk’s threats over the pond – but now they release a new promo for the film to the web that still boasts a ‘Christmas Day’ release?

Sure, the new promo doesn’t mention anything about the film being available in Cinemas… but it does mention that the release date is still intact. And it now boasts the new tagline “In Franco and Rogen We Trust”.

Might the film be hitting Netflix or Hulu, instead? Maybe iTunes? Maybe it’ll be screening in underground carparks, projected on white brick walls, with Lizzy Caplan dancing for attendees on intermission?

Or have Sony screwed up and uploaded a promo they shouldn’t!?

Intrigued like Sherlock Holmes hovering above a soaked body.

Here’s the promo Updated! It’s now been set to ‘Private’. Okay, what’s going on Sony?.

In the promo’s place, we have this for you :
