Iron Man’s Date with Galifianakis

Robert Downey Jr is set to join rising star Zach Galifianakis in “Due Date”, a comedy that’ll reunite the latter with “The Hangover” director Todd Phillips.

Downey will play an expectant father who finds himself on a road trip with a mismatched partner, as he races to get there before the birth of his first child, says Variety.

Galifianakis, currently starring in “G-Force”, plays his road trip mate in a comedy that Phillips calls “a buddy comedy without the buddies.”
