Is Space Jam 2 in the works? Depends who you talk to!

According to Deadline, Warner Bros are developing a sequel to the ’90s live-action/animation hybrid “Space Jam” – with LeBron James standing in for Michael Jordan.

Thing is, LeBron’s reps (via Sports Center) are denying the report, saying the star basketballer isn’t involved in the film (they also go so far as to say their is no “Space Jam 2” – but really, how would they know?!).

Deadline say the sons of broadcasting vet Dick Ebersol are involved in the project. Charlie Ebersol is producing, while Willie Ebersol is writing.

So, what’s the deal here? Anyone’s guess, but I’d say a sequel to “Space Jam” is indeed in the works but because James hasn’t formally committed – and maybe he won’t? – his camp are denying his involvement (because technically, until he signs, he’s not involved).

JLo is the 5-0
