Jack Black announces Pick of Destiny sequel

A sequel to “Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny” is on the way.

During the band’s appearance at the Shaky Knees Music Festival on the weekend, Jack Black informed attendees that a sequel will be released in October.

As for specifics? Not even Black seems to know.

“I don’t know where you’ll be able to see it, but we have decided that it’s happening and it’s coming out,” Black said, according to Consequence of Sound.

2006’s “Pick of Destiny” saw Black and Kyle Gass set out on a quest to steal a legendary guitar pick that gives its holders incredible guitar skills, from a maximum security Rock and Roll museum.
The film’s multitude of cameo players included Dave Grohl, Tim Robbins, Amy Adams, Ben Stiller and Meat Loaf.
