Jacqueline Bisset is set to play the mother of Sarah Jessica Parker in the romantic drama “Best Day of My Life”. Parker plays a Jazz musician who receives a diagnosis that changes her life, and the film follows her over a 24 hour period as she navigates her world tour and relationships.
Bisset is also joining Renee Zellweger, Common, Isabella Rossellini, Simon Baker, Taylor Kinney, and Gus Birney in the movie. Fabien Constant is directing with Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi’s Ambi Group producing.
Bisset is playing Parker’s mother, a woman who mostly speaks French and comes to visit her daughter the weekend of her New York performances (via Variety).
