James Bond 25 to be released in 2019

The next Bond, James Bond movie has been given a fall 2019 release date, set for cinemas November 8th, 2019. The 007 film will be the sequel to “Spectre” and the 25th instalment in the “James Bond” franchise.

“Bond 25” will be produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, but as yet there’s no director or cast locked in. Long time “Bond” collaborators Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are penning the script.

It’s rumoured that Daniel Craig will be back on board as the protagonist, despite his previous comments that he’d rather slit his wrists than be Bond again. Other names circling the role are Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Damian Lewis, Aiden Turner and James Norton, with Christopher Nolan’s name being thrown in the ring as a director choice.

Now that “Bond 25” has been given a release date, let’s hope the rest of the details fall into place in the near future.
