Wan, who is directing the sequel to his “The Conjuring” this fall, has now booked out pretty much every date on his calendar for the next couple of years. This undeniably suggests that the “Furious 7” helmer won’t be returning to direct the next chapter in Universal’s action series.

Wan will direct Warner’s “Aquaman” before moving onto “Robotech”.
