Having taken time off from the scare factory to get his hands greasy with “Fast & Furious 7”, Aussie scaremeister James Wan seemingly feels it’s time to spook himnself back into shape. According to Deadline, the “Saw” and “Insidious” director is returning to the horror genre to helm the sequel to his 2013 hit “The Conjuring”.
Wan has struck a new production deal with New Line, of which “The Conjuring 2” is part of. He’ll shoot the film next Summer.
A couple of days ago it was announced that “The Conjuring 2” had been pushed back from a 2015 release to 2016… guess we know why now.
