James Wan, who is an executive producer on the series, will direct the first episode of CBS’ “MacGyver” reboot.
Wan was originally set to direct the pilot but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. However CBS scrapped the original pilot when it picked the show up, and Wan is now back on board to helm a new premiere ep.
Lucas Till, George Eads and Justin Hires star in the reboot series, which has Peter Lenkov, Craig O’Neill, Henry Winkler, Lee Zlotoff and Michael Clear on board as exec producers with Wan.
