Jane, Mitchell, Cohen set for Hot Summer Nights

Elijah Byrnum will make his directorial debut on “Hot Summer Nights”, a coming-of-age drama set to star Thomas Jane, Maia Mitchell and Emory Cohen, says THR.

Maika Monroe, Timothee Chalamet and Alex Roe are also onboard the project,based on Bynum’s own Black List script.

Set in 1991, the movie follows a teen boy who befriends the town rebel. He falls in love and gets entangled in a drug ring — all over the course of one summer in the Cape.

The film, currently shooting in Atlanta, boasts Peter Farrelly as one of it’s producers.
