Sounds like the remake isn’t happening
Hey, wait? Stop… didn’t they say they were remaking “Tron”? Yes, Yes, I know that the plan was to originally do a sequel to the original film – with Jeff Bridges reprising his role as Flynn – but I thought all that went out the window when Disney – Disney, not anyone else – decided a remake was a better idea?
Seems something has changed. Jeff Bridges tells Collider that he’s in talks – again – to star in a sequel!
‘The Dude’ says he’s being pitched an idea soon, and says “…the reasons to do it and the reason I did that one (The original Tron) was because it was so innovative and I understand that they’ve got a whole new batch of stuff like that… innovations that they want to use on this so that could be kind of fun.”
