Jeremy Irons’ Alfred will be in Justice League

Jeremy Irons, who played Alfred in Warner Bros’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, will be reprising the role for “Justice League: Part One”, the actor told Showbizz411.

Zack Snyder is directing the film which sees Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) team up to combat a threat beyond each member’s capabilities.

J.K. Simmons is also on board to play Gotham City Police Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard will play Queen Mera and Willem Dafoe is appearing in an unknown role.

Chris Terrio wrote the screenplay. Charles Roven, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing.

“Justice League” will be released in two parts by Warner Bros. “Justice League: Part One” will open on November 17, 2017, followed by “Part Two” on June 14, 2019.
