J.K Simmons talks Justice League

Don’t expect to see much of J.K Simmons in the “Justice League” movie.

The “Terminator : Genisys” actor says that film will be introducing his take on Commissioner Jim Gordon but you likely won’t get to see much of Gordon until the subsequent sequels to the film – or Ben Affleck’s solo “Batman” movie.

“I’m going into a thing that hopefully will be 2, 3, 4, maybe more movies for me, and my part in the first one is really very small,” the actor tells The Meddler. “But obviously, we know who the guy is. We know his whole backstory, based on the comic book. So, I’m just gonna finish doing my research on that. And probably not watch the other actors who have played the part, because that is kind of intimidating, honestly, and I don’t think I would find that to be productive. So, I’ll do my take.”

In addition to the two “Justice League” movies that Warners have greenlit, Simmons is likely a part of “The Batman” which Ben Affleck will write, direct, and star in.
