Just when you think you’ve seen it all…
Disney Television Animation has a new project in the works as it looks to create a series about two unlikely friends.
In “Pickle & Peanut”, Jon Heder and Johnny Pemberton will voice an emotional pickle and a freewheeling peanut who strive to go from small town underdogs to something extraordinary.
The series, created by Noah Z. Jones, will mix 2D animation with live-action footage.
The show’s developer Joel Trussell will exec produce with Jones while Mark Rivers takes on the role of story editor.
“Pickle & Peanut” is likely to premiere on Disney-branded channels around the world in 2015.
