Reuniting with her “Rambo” studio
Former Buffy vixen turned Rambo eye-candy Julie Benz is paratrooping into ‘’The Punisher : War Zone’’, according to ‘Bloody Disgusting.
Lionsgate must love the former TV vampire – she played Darla on both ”Buffy” and ”Angel” – with her appointment in ”The Punisher” coming hot on the heels of her role in Lionsgate’s tentpoler ”Rambo”.
No word on who Benz, currently co-starring on the acclaimed cable series ”Dexter”, is playing in ”The Punisher” sequel but I’m going to go out on a limb and say she’ll be playing a foxy blonde with a great pair of storks.
Starring Ray Stevenson in the title role, “War Zone” sees former FBI agent Frank Castle continuing his crusade to punish violent criminals in America, now in New York to take on a underworld boss who plots to take control of the underworld.
