Jump Street recruit transferred to Wall Street

Proving he can do more than put up with Ice Cube’s ‘cherub looking mother fucker!’ torts (though we know that don’t we? Some of us saw “Moneyball”), “21 Jump Street” star Jonah Hill is reportedly joining Leonardo Di Caprio and Martin Scorsese in the actor/director unit’s newest “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

Not the highly-anticipated “Teen Wolf” meets Gordon Gecko crossover film most of us are hoping for, “Wall Street” is actually a lint-dirty drama about security fraud. And stuff. No dick jokes. Apparently.

The Hollywood Reporter
says :

DiCaprio is playing Belfort, a Long Island penny stock broker who served 20 months in prison for participating in a massive 1990s securities fraud that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration. Belfort — who lived large, owned a yacht that sank off the coast of Sardinia and became an alcoholic and drug addict — served as an inspiration for Ben Younger’s 2000 movie Boiler Room.

And the cherub-looking mother fucker is playing :

Danny Porush, who is convinced by his future best friend and business partner Belfort to quit his job in furniture sales and enter the lucrative yet volatile world of stock brokering. The film chronicles the duo’s meteoric rise and colossal fall amid scandal, fraud and excess.

Before that though, Hill will be seen in some more funnies.
