The next Batman sequel might be about to go Pop.
Cinescape reports that boy-band bopper turned slick solo-singer and now, promising new picture player Justin Timberlake-Diaz (Stoo throwing tomatoes! They get mooshy on my jumper!) might be lending his ‘Face’ to the next "Batman" film.
Timberlake is reportedly up for the role of Two-Face in the looming sequel. For those not in the know, Two-Face was Harvey Dent, the District Attorney of Gotham City, and a close personal ally of Batman. However, after a criminal threw acid in his face, severely disfiguring one half but leaving the other unharmed, he became the split-mugged master of crime.
It’s believed Dent will be introduced in his pre-dual mug form in the next film, and then in the film to follow – will take on the familiar guise of the split faced criminal.
Tommy Lee Jones played Two-Face in 1994’s "Batman Forever". Billy Dee Williams played Dent in the original Symbol-adorned "Batman" (1989).
Also rumoured to be up for the role is Liev Schreiber, of "Scream" and Naomi Watt’s sleeping bag fame.
