Nice little break for the original Karate Kid, Ralph Macchio here; the now middle-aged former child star has snagged a role in “Hitchcock”, the Sacha Gervasi-directed flick about the legendary filmmaker and the making of his most famous film, “Psycho”. Macchio, who starred in three “Karate Kid” films, plays “Psycho” screenwriter Joe Stefano.
Macchio joins a cast that includes Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren and Anthony Hopkins, playing Hitchcock.
