Caffeinated Clint
Vince Vaughn is set to play Jim Rockford in a feature film version of “The Rockford Files”, according to Deadline.
This isn’t the first time someone’s tried to resurrect the classic James Garner series, last year NBC attempted to bring it back as a series – with Dermot Mulroney playing Rockford – but the pilot didn’t pass muster.
David Levien and Brian Koppelman are writing the big-screen version of “Rockford”, which Universal will distribute.
Vaughn, of course, featured in another series cum film “Starsky & Hutch”.
