Keanu Reeves says the script for Bill & Ted’s Third Excellent Bogus Journey Adventure is complete!

I still can’t fathom why Keanu Reeves would turn his nose up at a “Speed” or “Point Break” sequel – which he did, by the way; he was offered both at one point and refused to take part – and yet flip like a fucking performer to do a third “Bill & Ted”!?

I guess it has something to do with the actor’s relationship with the original movie – ‘Ted’ was, after all, his breakthrough role. And I guess he thinks he owes it to both the franchise, and it’s many fans, to reprise the role of the dimish time-traveling musician once more.

Fair enough reason (But still, I’d always hoped Reeves would reprise Jack Tavern again one day for a “Speed” sequel; let’s just forget the Sandra Bullock-led “Speed 2 : Cruise Control” ever existed).

Good news is, Reeves says the script for “Bill & Ted 3” is good.

Asking how plans for the film are coming along, Reeves tells The Independent that the script is complete and they’re now just waiting to hear of a start date.

“Yeah, we have a script. We’re trying to put it together. It’s a good script too.”

Reeve’s co-star Alex Winter would later confirm the script’s completion and how well things are looking for the film in a tweet:

“Script done? Check. -We love it? Check. -Green light? Working on it!”

And on that script, do we know anything story wise? Well, we only know what Reeves told MTV last year :

“When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened. So they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there’s an element of time and they have to go back.”

Sounds good enough!
