At the Fantasia Film Festival screening of his new film “Cop Car” this week, “Tremors” actor Kevin Bacon was asked whether or not he might return to reprise Val McKee in a future sequel or reboot. Surprisingly – since the “Tremors” series has chalked up a further four entries since Bacon’s departure – the ’80s icon suggested that such a possibility might be on the cards.
“That’s the one I’d like to come back to and see where he is after 25 years”, Fangoria quoted Bacon as saying.
Considering this isn’t the first time Bacon has displayed enthusiasm for returning to the “Tremors” franchise, is there something happening?
Meanwhile, the latest “Tremors” movie, direct-to-DVD sequel “Tremors 5 : Bloodlines”, is released in October.
