Laura Dern and Judd Apatow are teaming up to develop an untitled female football comedy at Universal.
Pam Brady will write the screenplay which will centre around obsessive female football fans.
Dern originally conceived the idea. She brought it to Apatow who will produce through his Apatow Productions with Dern and Barry Mendel.
Erik Baiers will oversee for Universal.
