Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti are set to star in Showtime’s drama pilot “Billions”.
As the name would suggest, the pilot is set in the world of high finance and centres on the clash between two larger-than-life figures, a U.S. Attorney (Giamatti) and a hedge fund titan (Lewis).
“Divergent’s” Neil Burger will helm the pilot with production set to kick off in New York early next year.
The script was penned by Brian Koppelman, David Levien and New York Times’ columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin. They will also exec produce.
