Caffeinated Clint
Among the new pilots CBS has commissioned, a series based on the Bradley Cooper/Robert De Niro feature “Limitless”.
Per Deadline, the series follows the same storyline as the flick :
Written/executive produced by Craig Sweeny and executive produced by Cooper and Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci, Limitless follows Brian Sinclair, the character played in the film by Cooper, as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI. The feature’s helmer, Neil Burger, will direct the pilot.
The network also picked up several other pilots, including one from TV vet Tad Quill.
