It’s still without a director, a Protein Powder sponsor, and Chuck Norris but Lionsgate has announced an August 17, 2012 release date for “The Expendables 2” (That’s near two years to the day since the first was released).
Sylvester Stallone recently announced he wouldn’t be directing the film, but it’s assumed he’ll act in it – as will Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis and the oft-rumoured Jean-Claude Van Damme (reportedly playing a villain).
Who else are they missing from that line-up? Jeff Speakman? Carl Weathers!? Hey, what about John Travolta!? No?
