Lionsgate has pushed back the release of “The Divergent Series: Ascendant” and “Power Rangers” by over 2 months each.
Originally scheduled to open on March 24, 2017, “The Divergent Series: Ascendant” will now open against “World War Z 2” on June 9, 2017.
Meanwhile “Power Rangers” has been slotted into the March 24 slot from a previous release date of January 13, 2017. It will open against Universal’s reboot of “The Mummy”.
