London will fall by a Scandanavian’s hand!

“London Has Fallen” may have a new director.

Scandinavian helmer Babak Najafi is in talks to direct the sequel to Gerard Butler actioner “Olympus Has Fallen” after Fredrik Bond exited the project just over a week ago.

Bond was attached to helm the pic for Millennium before he left the project due to “creative differences”.

With production just weeks away, the search for a new director has apparently been a desperate one, with Butler reportedly considering leaving the project himself due to poor directing prospects.

Should Najafi secure the gig, production will go ahead in two stages; filming would initially kick off for four weeks with Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Angela Bassett and Melissa Leo before pausing and resuming in Feb with Butler. Why? Butler is currently shooting his Warner Bros/Skydance disaster pic “Geostorm”.

Focus Features will release the film, in which Butler returns as a Secret Service agent following the mysterious death of the British Prime Minister, on October 2, 2015.
