Caffeinated Clint
We’ve been given the heads up – just one of these days I want someone to give me the ‘bottoms up’ – that a nifty Sizzle Reel (seemingly prepared for AFM) is online for writer/director/producer Justin Evan’s “A Lonely Place for Dying” (which we previewed stills from yesterday).
This thing looks pretty slick. It almost reminds me of one of Robet Rodriguez’s flicks, be it “Desperado” or “Once Upon a Time In Mexico”. Not a bad thing to be.
The pic, featuring Academy Award Nominee James Cromwell (“L.A Confidential”, “Babe”, “W”) and Genre-fave Michael Wincott (“The Crow”, “Alien Resurrection”, “What Just Happened”), tells of 70s CIA Agent Robert Harper, who fears he has much to answer for. KGB defector Nikolai Dzerzhinsky suspects his secrets are already known. And in an abandoned prison deep in the Mexican desert both men will learn this is…a lonely place for dying.
