Lord, Miller bringing Serial to TV

Phil Lord and Chris Miller, they of “The LEGO Movie”, “21 Jump Street” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” fame, have teamed with 21 Television Studios to adapt the hit podcast “Serial” into a TV show.

According to The Live Feed, the group have snagged the rights with plans to make a cable show based on the experience of making the podcast.

When writers have been found, the team will start pitching the show to networks.
