“The Lego Movie” helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller will return to Warner Bros. to script a sequel.
Lord and Miller wrote and directed this year’s animated hit and have signed on to write the screenplay for the follow up film.
The film will be a ninja themed Lego movie titled “Ninjago” and has been slated for release on September 23, 2016.
Three more Lego films are also in the works at Warner Bros, with a Lego Batman film likely to bow in 2017 and two more Lego movies due in 2018 and 2019.
