Lost actress for Code sequel

Kimberly Joseph – best known to Aussie audiences for her long-running stints on “Paradise Beach” and “Gladiators”, and to American audiences for her forgettable role as a flight attendant on a couple of episodes of “Lost” – has snagged a plum part in “Angels & Demons”, the sequel to “The Da Vinci Code”.

According to the The Herald Sun, Joseph has become somewhat of a favourite of director Ron Howard. He used her in a small role in his latest film “Frost/Nixon”, and was so pleased with her he asked her to come onboard “Angels & Demons”.

In the film, Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) is summoned by CERN to investigate a murder victim, branded with the Illuminati ambigram, leading him to discover the cult’s scheme to murder four cardinals and destroy St. Peter’s Basilica during a papal conclave.
