Lost co-creator heading to a Galaxy Far, Far Away!?

Rumblings that Damon Lindelof might be writing the next “Star Wars” movie

Disney

“Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof is rumoured to be in talks to pen the next “Star Wars” movie for Lucasfilm.

According to Jeff Sneider at The Ankler, “I don’t know what it’s about, I don’t know if he has a co-writer (he might) and I don’t know if there’s a director attached yet (there might be), so while there isn’t always fire where there’s smoke, my “Sneidy senses” are tingling.”

Lindelof told Fandom a couple of years back that he’d be keen to do something in that galaxy far, far away.

“…at some point, but certainly not in the immediate future, I feel like I would love to do something in the Star Wars universe… Maybe a decade from now when I would no longer be blamed for ruining it. That would be a hoot.”

Scare Mag‘s twitter has responded to The Ankler exclusive, adding that the film might be linked to JJ Abrams’ sequel trilogy – in turn suggesting this might be a fully-fledged “Lost” reunion if Abrams is back to produce.
