Louis Leterrier is no longer attached to direct Sony’s shark attack movie “In the Deep”.
According to The Wrap, Leterrier exited the project because a recent budget cut and changes to creative elements meant that “it was no longer the film [he had] signed up for.”
Anthony Jaswinski wrote the Black List script about a surfer who is attacked by a shark and stranded 20 yards offshore on a buoy as it circles her like prey. She must find a way back to dry land before she succumbs to her injuries.
