Release date pushed once again
Today’s “Variety” brings the news that the upcoming thriller “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane” has been bumped just a tad from its original scheduled release this week.
By just a tad, I mean of course, that it will be released into cinemas in 2008. The Weinstein Company bought the distribution rights to the flick for the U.S. after a screening at the Toronto Film Festival, and have now had domestic distribution taken from them by Senator U.S., which had already secured distribution rights in most other parts of the world.
The flick, which has been gathering good early word of mouth, will be Senator’s first U.S. theatrical release in early 2008, to an estimated 1,000+ screens.
